A police case has been registered after stone-pelting between two groups during a household Ganesh immersion procession in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district left two to three people injured, officials said, according to an IANS report.

The incident took place late on Sunday in Raver town when an argument over the blocking of a road escalated into a confrontation between two groups. The dispute occurred while a family was proceeding with the immersion of a household Ganesh idol.
