Srinagar-Jammu highway accident: 33 injured after sleeper bus overturns in Ramban tunnel

At least 33 passengers were injured after a West Bengal-registered sleeper bus carrying 55 people overturned inside a tunnel near Maroog in Ramban. Nine injured passengers were referred to GMC Jammu, while rescue teams and officials managed relief and traffic movement

At least 33 passengers were injured after a sleeper bus travelling from Srinagar towards Jammu overturned inside a tunnel near Maroog on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, in Ramban district on Thursday, officials said.

Among the injured, nine have been referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for further treatment, they said.
