Janata Dal (U) seeks alcohol ban in Maharashtra

<p>Maharashtra unit of Janata Dal (United) has sought that the state should emulate Bihar government in enforcing a total ban on sale and consumption of liquor.</p>

"If states like Gujarat, Mizoram, Kerala and Bihar can ban alcohol consumption in their respective states then why not Maharashtra," Shyam Bhusevar, President of Janata Dal (U), Maharashtra, said.
