It was because of their negligence that sent owners of a jewellery shop to the hospital, and lose Rs 8 lakh yesterday night, at 8.30 pm.

The owners, Jiyaram and Ghusharam are brothers, and they had come to the city a year ago from Gujarat and opened a jewellery store at Thanisandra, near Hennur.

The burglars attacked the owner of the jewellery shop and made away with 600 gms of gold.
