Police used water cannons, tear gas and lathis as protesters attempted to cross the final barricade near Jagannathpur Temple. Several demonstrators claimed they were injured, including women. The protest has continued for more than two weeks, with aspirants demanding cancellation of several exams, comprehensive JPSC-JSSC reforms and an independent probe.
