The protest against the alleged irregularities in recruitment exams in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/jharkhand-students-to-march-to-assembly-as-jpsc-protest-enters-14th-day-23643583" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jharkhand entered its 14th day </a>on Friday with six demonstrators on a hunger strike, even as two student unions announced a march to the state Assembly to press for their demands.&nbsp;
The demonstrators have been demanding cancellation of the 14th Jharkhand PSC Civil Services Examination and an independent probe into the alleged irregularities.&nbsp;

They also stressed comprehensive reforms in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).&nbsp;
<h2>Ink thrown &nbsp;</h2>
A man was detained from the protest site after he allegedly threw ink at All India Students&rsquo; Association (AISA) president Neha Bora, accusing her of being anti-national.&nbsp;
Following the incident, Bora said, &ldquo;I am not going to be scared by ink throwing, as I faced pellet-gun firing and baton charges during the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/video/rahul-gandhis-home-erupts-with-protests-sadhus-women-protesters-detained-by-delhi-police-1081293" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Delhi protest.</a> Do they think ink can suppress the anger of students and youth across the country?&rdquo;
<h2>They will be heard: CM&nbsp;</h2>
<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/congress-backs-hemant-soren-government-amid-jpsc-protest-calls-for-dialogue-23643469" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren</a> on Friday said his government was ready to hold talks with students, and asserted that &ldquo;big and strong reform&rdquo; is on the anvil.&nbsp;
&ldquo;The state is eager to know the problems of every student. All the students can give their thoughts on the issues.&rdquo;
