Jammu and Kashmir government today suspended 40 teachers of various schools in Jammu district for unauthorised absence from duty

A high-level committee constituted by Director, School Education, Sourabh Bhagat found the teachers absent from duty during a surprise inspection, officials said.
The committee headed by Joint Director, Secondary Education, conducted surprise inspections at various schools and ordered suspension of the teaching and non-teaching staff found unauthorisedly absent from duty, they said.
