JNU row: University students Umar, Anirban sent to three-day police custody

<p>Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, facing sedition charges for allegedly raising "anti-India" slogans, were remanded to three-day police custody on Wednesday, sources said.</p>

New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, facing sedition charges for allegedly raising "anti-India" slogans, were remanded to three-day police custody on Wednesday, sources said.
The proceedings were not held in Patiala House Courts complex here due to security concern.
