BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda is visiting poll-bound Bihar on September 13. His schedule includes a Core Committee meeting, an inspection of Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital in Chhapra, and addressing the ‘Prabhat Khabar’ Media Conclave in Patna. The visit comes days before PM Modi’s Bihar tour on September 15.

BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda will visit poll-bound Bihar on Saturday. As reported by news agency ANI, Union Minister JP Nadda will be holding a Core Committee meeting and inspecting the Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital in Chhapra. 

Union Minister and BJP chief JP Nadda’s visit to Bihar just a few months before the elections depicts the BJP’s preparations ahead of the assembly elections. With the BJP trying to establish a stronghold in the state, Congress has also been staging several campaigns earlier. 


During the BJP chief’s visit, he will also address the 'Prabhat Khabar' Media Conclave in Patna.



While posting on social media handle X, the Office of JP Nadda wrote, "BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda Ji will address the 'Prabhat Khabar Media Conclave-2025' on 13 September."

JP Nadda's visit and the Core Committee meeting come ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Bihar on September 15, reported ANI. 

During his visit to the state, PM Modi will inaugurate the new Interim Terminal Building at the New Civil Enclave of Purnea Airport at around 2:45 pm. Furthermore, as per the reports from ANI, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth around Rs 36,000 crore at Purnea and address the gathering on the occasion.

According to a press release by the PMO, he will also launch the National Makhana Board in Bihar. The Board will promote production and new technology development, strengthen post-harvest management, promote value addition and processing and facilitate market, export and brand development in Makhana, thereby benefiting the Makhana farmers of Bihar and the country.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the rail line between Bikramshila and Katareah, worth over Rs 2,170 crore, providing a direct rail link across the river Ganga. He will inaugurate the new rail line between Arariya and Galgalia (Thakurganj), worth over Rs 4,410 crore.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi landed at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram. but couldn't go to Lammual Ground in Aizawl due to inclement weather. However, the Prime Minister flagged off the new trains via video conferencing in Aizawl, Mizoram.

PM Modi is currently on a five-state visit to Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar – from September 13 to 15.
