Karnataka hijab row: Decision on extending closure of schools, colleges will be taken today, says Bommai

As a three-judge full bench of the Karnataka High Court will hear the petitions over the 'hijab' row on Thursday, Bommai also urged upon everyone including politicians, not to make statements that incite people and to maintain peace

AMid the ongoing hijab row, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday said that he will hold a meeting with Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh and officials along with State Home Minister to discuss briefly whatever happened. He will also be taking a decision today evening on extending closure of all high schools and colleges.

As a three-judge full bench of the Karnataka High Court will hear the petitions over the 'hijab' row on Thursday, Bommai urged upon everyone including politicians, not to make statements that incite people and to maintain peace.
