DMK chief and former Tamil Nadu chief minster M. Karunanidhi has blamed the central government for his daughter Kanimozhi's arrest in the 2G spectrum scam case

Speaking at a public meeting late Sunday at his Tiruvarur constituency, Karunanidhi said: "She (Kanimozhi) is in jail owing to some central government's intelligence agency or due to carelessness of some officials or due to some other reason. As the matter is in court, I do not want to go deeper into it."
