Kherwadi flyover gets green light

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Monday green lighted the construction of the flyover at Kherwadi Junction.
The MMRDA's Executive Committee headed by Chairman, Executive Committee, MMRDA, and Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra on Monday also decided to appoint consultants for noise mapping for the four flyovers on Dr Ambedkar Road.
“Kherwadi flyover will be a boon for the motorists travelling on the Western Express Highway. The 580-meter long and 25-meter wide flyover will provide great relief to the north-bound motorists, in turn, saving invaluable time n’ fuel”, said Dilip Kawathkar, Joint Project Director (PR), MMRDA.
