At least four farmers travelling from Haryana to participate in the Kisan Mahapanchayat in Delhi were detained by Delhi Police at the Singhu border on Tuesday, while hundreds of farmers from Punjab were prevented from entering Haryana at the Shambhu border as security was tightened ahead of the protest, reported PTI.

The day-long Kisan Mahapanchayat is being held at Kisan Ghat in Delhi under the banner of the "Desh Bachao Morcha" to protest against the proposed India-US trade agreement.
