Bori, assistant executive commissioner, BDA, is camping at Girinagar in south Bangalore. He started his work on May 11 and has to complete it before May 16.

"We are fighting a case against the BDA and the court has appointed a BDA officer to investigate the matter." He said he would wait for Bori's report and move the courts against it. Bulk allotments Hundreds of members have alleged that the society sold sites already allotted to them to others for more money in Girinagar 4th Phase. The government allowed the society to make bulk allotments of sites when H D Kumaraswamy was chief minister. Based on that order, the high court cleared the case in favour of the society. Once the case was cleared, land value in the 4th Phase went up, tempting the association to sell sites to new buyers. Rajeswari (55), wife of K H Ramakrishna Reddy (64), bought a site (No 833) measuring 30 x 50 ft for Rs 8 lakh in 1994.u00a0 She was issued a possession certificate, but was told not to occupy the site because of the case. When she went to the site in 2007, after the court cleared the dispute, someone else had fenced it. "The society had sold the site for more money," said Ramakrishna Reddy. "We had paid Rs 8 lakh, but they sold it again for Rs 30 lakh." Reddy was among the petitioners whose efforts prompted the court to appoint Bori. Ravi Subramanya, MLA representing Basavanagudi, said, "The people feel a BDA officer cannot do justice in this case." He claimed he had not instigated the resistance. "In fact I went there to advise them not to go against the court's order," he said. Bori said, "Some are co-operating but many are resisting. Those who go against the court's order will face the music."
