One Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in the mountainous forests of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Monday.

Columns of army and state police threw a cordon around the forest of Triath in Rajouri district, about 100 km northwest of Jammu, Sunday evening. Security forces had received information about the presence of a group of militants there.
