The Pune rural police on Sunday took Siya Goyal, 20, the prime accused in the alleged murder of realtor Ketan Agrawal, to Lohagad Fort to recreate the crime scene as part of the ongoing investigation. Co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, 22, was also brought to the fort separately for the exercise under heavy police security.
Led by Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, the police recreated the sequence of events to verify the accused’s version of the incident and identify the exact spot from where Agrawal was allegedly pushed into the gorge on June 18. A human-sized dummy was used during the exercise to reconstruct the alleged crime, while investigators conducted a detailed panchnama. The fort remained closed to tourists during the operation.
