BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Thursday filed his nomination papers for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.

Modi was accompanied by close aide Amit Shah, and BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi when he reached the District Magistrate's office to file his nomination papers.

He earlier held a roadshow.
