Death toll in Lucknow coaching centre fire rises to 14

The death toll in the Lucknow coaching centre fire rose to 14 on Monday. UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the families of the victims and Rs 50,000 for the injured, while PM Modi also announced compensation from PMNRF and expressed condolences to the bereaved families

The death toll in the fire that broke out at a coaching centre in Lucknow's Aliganj area on Monday rose to 14. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi have announced financial assistance for the victims’ families and the injured.

CM Yogi Adityanath visited a hospital to meet those injured in the incident and expressed grief over the loss of lives.
