The colour saffron appears to be gradually spreading across Uttar Pradesh, with parts of a nearly 80-year-old police station in the state capital being given a splash of the colour, days after the Haj office here was painted orange, drawing criticism from several members of the Opposition.
Ever since Yogi Adityanath took over as the chief minister of UP, the colour seems to have become a defining feature of the state. It has virtually permeated everything - right from booklets and school bags to towels and chairs, and even buses. And the Qaiser Bagh police station here seems to be the latest on the list.
