Maharashtra: 21-year-old woman 'marries' corpse after her father, brothers kill boyfriend in Nanded

The woman arrived at the deceased's house as preparations were underway for his last rites. Eyewitnesses said that she then “married” the deceased, claiming the act would make their love “immortal”

A 21-year-old woman expressed the depth of her love for her boyfriend by “marrying” his corpse after he was allegedly killed by her father and two brothers in Nanded district of Maharashtra, reported the PTI.

Videos of woman’s unusual act at the deceased’s home, along with her demand for capital punishment for her family, went viral on social media.
