Maharashtra: 22 passengers injured as bus driver suffers heart attack

Mumbai: A driver of a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus today suffered heart attack while driving in Kolhapur district, following which the bus veered, causing injuries to 22 passengers, police said.
"The incident occurred near Navli village in Panhala tehsil. The driver Baburao Sawant lost control of the vehicle after the heart attack and the bus collided against a tree. He was killed, while 22 passengers were injured," police said.
