Transperson dies by suicide in Nagpur hospital after losing both legs in train accident

According to officers, she earned a livelihood by begging on trains. Last month, she reportedly fell from a moving train and sustained severe injuries, following which both her legs had to be amputated

A 35-year-old transperson died by suicide at a government-run hospital in Nagpur on Thursday, nearly a month after losing both legs in a train accident, news agency PTI reported, quoting the police.
The victim was a resident of Maharashtra’s Amravati district.
