Maharashtra Civic Elections 2026 Results: Heavy security deployed at PCMC D Ward ahead of vote counting in Pune

DCP Vishal Gaikwad said, “The counting process is about to begin shortly in the D Ward. We have made all necessary arrangements, including one riot-control police platoon, seven to eight officers, and 100 policemen on duty”

Ahead of the Maharashtra local body election counting scheduled for today, heavy security has been put in place outside the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) D Ward Regional Office.
Results for the state’s 29 municipal corporations are expected to start being announced from 10 am onwards.
