Maharashtra Congress Legislature Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday criticised the BJP government over rising inflation and concerns about the financial security of ordinary citizens, alleging that the government was prioritising traders’ interests over public welfare.
“People’s deposits are not safe, and inflation has risen sharply, but instead of providing relief to ordinary citizens, the government is busy protecting traders’ interests,” Wadettiwar said.
