Maharashtra: Govt official held for taking Rs 20,000 bribe

The complainant in the case wanted the registration process for a flat in Pali to be done.

An assistant registrar of Pali Sudhagad tehsil in Raigad district of Maharashtra was arrested for accepting Rs 20,000 bribe, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has said.

The official, Jitendra Waikar, was arrested on Friday, it said.
