Parts of Vidarbha witnessed scattered rainfall of moderate intensity on Thursday, June 11. As per the Indian Meteorological Department, the scattered showers in parts of Maharashtra brought a brief respite from the prevailing heatwave conditions.
Despite the rainfall activity, there was no significant change in maximum temperatures across the region. Day temperatures remained appreciably above normal, keeping heat stress levels high in several districts, according to IMD. Similarly, minimum temperatures showed no large variation and stayed within the normal range for this time of the year.
