Maharashtra heatwave: Vidarbha records above 44 degrees Celsius, remains hottest region in state
According to the latest weather data, Wardha emerged as the hottest location in the state at 44.4 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Akola (44.1 degrees Celsius) and Nagpur (44.0 degrees Celsius)

Most parts of Maharashtra on Friday continued to witness intense hot weather conditions, with interior regions recording scorching temperatures, while coastal belts remained relatively cooler but humid.
According to the weather data, Wardha emerged as the hottest location in the state at 44.4 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Akola (44.1 degrees Celsius) and Nagpur (44.0 degrees Celsius).
