In a heinous case, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by 400 men, including two policemen for over six months in Maharashtra's Beed district. The victim confirmed these gory details to the child welfare committee.

The girl’s statement was recorded on November 12, days after a first information report (FIR) in the case had been registered with the police. However, according to sources, the victim was reluctant to file a complaint but after counselling, she recorded her statement.
