Maharashtra MPs take oath hailing Shivaji, Bal Thackeray and Ambedkar

They hailed Chattrapati Shivaji, late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and B R Ambedkar before taking oath in Lok Sabha and ended it with the trademark 'Jai Maharashtra'
New Delhi: They hailed Chattrapati Shivaji, late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and B R Ambedkar before taking oath in Lok Sabha and ended it with the trademark 'Jai Maharashtra'. Most of the elected members of Shiv Sena took oath in Marathi and started it by hailing Maratha warrior Shivaji and Thackeray.
Some hailed Ambedkar, the key architect of the Constitution. Many of them ended the oath with 'Jai Maharashtra' or 'Jai Maharashtra, Jai Hind'. With several members deviating from the written script, P A Sangma who was chairing the proceedings, reminded them to strictly stick to the script.
