The administration in Maharashtra's Palghar district has launched a series of initiatives, including real-time monitoring of 108 and 102 ambulance services, to strengthen healthcare delivery and reduce maternal and infant mortality, according to an official release issued on Thursday, news agency PTI reported.

Maternal and Child Control Room system introduced

To address geographical challenges in remote areas such as Jawhar, Mokhada, and Talasari, the administration has deployed a multi-tier Maternal and Child Control Room system.
