Monsoon begins to withdraw from parts of Rajasthan; heavy rains likely in Maharashtra: IMD

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to continue across northeastern states and Maharashtra for the next three days, an IMD weather bulletin said on Sunday

The Southwest Monsoon has started to withdraw from parts of Rajasthan on Sunday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather department said on Sunday that the conditions were favourable for further withdrawal from other areas of Rajasthan, as well as parts of Punjab and Gujarat, over the next two to three days.
