Maharashtra: ‘Run for Unity’ held in Latur, Nanded to mark Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary

Superintendent of Police Amol Tambe, who joined the event in Latur, said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel laid the foundation of India’s unity by integrating the nation. Latur and Nanded districts in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region marked Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on Friday by organising ‘Run for Unity’ events to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

According to PTI, in Latur, hundreds of students, police personnel, and members of social organisations participated in the run. Similar events were held at every police station across the district, where participants also took an oath to uphold national unity.
