Maharashtra SSC results declared, girls outshine boys

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the SSC results today. 14,99,276 students appeared for the examinations this year, according to reports
Mumbai ranked third in the Secondary School Certificate Examination held in March this year with the pass percentage being 88.92.
Konkan was ranked highest with the pass percentage from this division being 93.79 followed by Kolhapur at 90.36.
In all 14,99,276 students appeared for their SSC exams from all over Maharashtra and 12,51,528 passed which included 6,69,005 boys and 5,90,523 girls with the pass percent of girls being 84.90 and that of boys 82.24.
