Vehicular traffic on both the Mumbai–Pune Expressway and the old Mumbai–Pune Highway has been suspended in both directions after a landslide triggered by incessant heavy rainfall, authorities said on Monday.

As a precautionary measure, authorities have halted the movement of vehicles towards both Mumbai and Pune until further notice to ensure the safety of commuters as the region continues to receive heavy monsoon showers.
