Maharashtra weather alert: Heatwave first, storms next! Vidarbha in for a sharp shift

Vidarbha is set to witness a mixed spell of intense heat, thunderstorms, and gusty winds over the next five days, according to the latest forecast issued on Sunday by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). 

The region may see a rise in maximum temperatures by 2–3 degrees Celsius over the next 48 hours, followed by largely stable conditions thereafter.
