A court in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar town sentenced to death a man for raping and then brutally killing a 15-year-old girl, a lawyer said.

The special court for atrocities on women and dowry harassment cases handed out capital punishment to 27-year-old Sohan Lal alias Sonu, a resident of Sadulshahar in Sriganganagar district, some 500 km from Jaipur.
