Gunmen shot dead a man and left his son critically injured inside an air-conditioned coach of a train in Uttar Pradesh's Mau district Monday, police said.

The incident took place in the AC three tier coach of the Chauri Chaura Express when two men barged in and started firing at Ram Singh and his son Yashpal.
