As the political situation in Goa continues to remain unstable, Congress has made a strong accusation against the Manohar Parrikar led BJP govt that it may try to dissolve assembly through unconstitutional means. Goa Congress President Girish Chodankar said in a letter to Governor Mridula Sinha on Wednesday. Manohar Parrikar in recent time has been struggling with illness and has been spending a majority of his time in the USA for treatment.
"This letter is... to enlighten and caution your Excellency of a possible attempt to dissolve the Assembly on basis of a concocted Cabinet decision which was successfully done by Parrikar in 2002 when there was political uncertainty," Chodankar alleged.
