MECON gets new director (project)

Subir Chattopadhyay, who had joined MECON as management trainee on May 12, 1979, has taken charge as the director (project) of MECON from May 1. Prior to this, Chattopadhyay has headed the finance division of the company

During his 33 years of service in MECON, Chattopadhyay has made numerous contributions in various fields. Some of the notable assignments headed by him include detailed engineering and execution of various processing lines, projects of Bokaro Steel Plant and Rourkela Steel Plant, Bar & Rod Mill at SISCOL Project, Salem and Reheating Furnace of Boraro Steel Plant. u00a0
