A 28-year-old postgraduate medical student was declared brain-dead after she was allegedly run over by a car outside a mall in Andhra Pradesh's Rajamahendravaram

A 28-year-old medico was declared brain-dead after she was allegedly run over by a car at a mall in Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district. Police have arrested two youths, who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
The incident occurred on Tuesday but came to light on Thursday after CCTV visuals were widely circulated on social media. Priyanka, a postgraduate student at GSL Medical College, was riding pillion on a scooty as she was coming out of the mall with a friend. The car hit the bike from behind near the main gate.
