New Delhi:&nbsp;A minor fire broke out on&nbsp;the second floor of the Parliament Annexe which was brought&nbsp;under control by fire fighters on Sunday.
A meeting of the national executive of JD(U) was underway&nbsp;when the fire broke out. The meeting, however, continued&nbsp;uninterrupted.&nbsp;
"The fire occurred on the second floor of Annexe building&nbsp;of Parliament following which fire tenders were rushed to the&nbsp;spot and the blaze was brought under control," a fire&nbsp;department official said.
The fire was noticed around 1.30 PM.
"No causalities or injuries were reported. It appears to&nbsp;be caused by a short circuit. However, the exact cause behind&nbsp;the fire is being investigated," said the official.&nbsp;
The fire led to heavy smoke which filled the corridor of&nbsp;the building.
