&gt;&gt; Like Times Now is indeed setting the agenda for most news channels, save NDTV 24x7, which does exactly what it wants to
&gt;&gt; Like news channels are indeed spending huge monies on the elections, but they are also making huger monies too.
&gt;&gt; Like the news channels which are not making money from the elections or are not seeing their ratings go north should shut shop
&gt;&gt; Like Karan Thapar has indeed made a huge difference to Headlines Today. We don&rsquo;t know if the fortunes will turn for Headlines Today the way they did for Star Plus when KBC came along in 2000, but I&rsquo;m beginning to like other bulletin anchors on HT already
&gt;&gt; Like it was good to see Vir Sanghvi on telly though I don&rsquo;t think slotting it at 10 pm was right
And these stray thoughts: &gt;&gt; Like the most good-looking anchor remains Nidhi Razdan
&gt;&gt; Like the most good-looking party spokesperson on news shows is Congress&rsquo; Priyanka Chaturvedi. Despite such a sweet face, I remember how she got her kids to eat &lsquo;karelas&rsquo; with a smile
&gt;&gt; Like these elections, more than the star anchors, it&rsquo;s various celebrities who are making $$$s
&gt;&gt; Like more than news channels, after seeing the pic in yesterday&rsquo;s mid-day, I am looking forward to watching Big B kissing &lsquo;Dadi&rsquo; Ali Asgar in &lsquo;Comedy Nights with Kapil&rsquo; tomorrow after India beats Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup final that is
And this final viewpoint: &gt;&gt; That next Saturday will see the fourth phase of the elections, with three done and five more to go
And one more view: &gt;&gt; That even though I enjoy copying Behram &lsquo;Busybee&rsquo; Contractor&rsquo;s style, it&rsquo;s not easy doing it. Busybee would dash out his column in 20 minutes; I took twice that.
