More than 93K cases of women's rights violation since 2012: Government

<p>More than 93,000 cases related to violation of the rights of women were reported over the last four years in the country along with over 3,000 instances of infringement of the rights of children, Lok Sabha was informed</p>

New Delhi: More than 93,000 cases related to violation of the rights of women were reported over the last four years in the country along with over 3,000 instances of infringement of the rights of children, Lok Sabha was informed on Friday.

As many as 93,416 and 3,369 cases respectively of the violation of women and child rights were reported in the last four years, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi said in a written reply.
