In a latest development on the opening day of the Monsoon Session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Monday, the state government introduced the much-anticipated Madhya Pradesh Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill. Higher Education Minister Gautam Tetwal tabled the bill in the House, triggering a massive uproar from opposition parties.
