Mumbai: 5,000 banners removed by BMC workers, but no fine collected yet

After witnessing an action-packed day on Thursday, BMC's drive against illegal hoardings seems to have mellowed down

While having accomplished the mammoth feat of pulling down over 5,000 banners in the last 24 hours, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is yet to collect fines or file police complaints against people who have been involved in putting up illegal hoardings.
