Mumbai: Air India employee held for bid to smuggle out 400 gms gold

An employee of Air India was today apprehended by the Aviation Security Group of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for allegedly trying to smuggle 400 grams of gold biscuits out of the city international airport, officials said. According to the CISF, its staff apprehended Khan Mohammed Arif and his search resulted in the recovery of 400 grams gold worth around Rs 11 lakh kept in the battery slot of his mobile phone.
