Mumbai blast accused Farooq Takla got Indian passport in 2011 with fake identity

The agency has alleged that Md Farooq Yasin Mansoor alias Farooq Takla had escaped to Dubai after the serial blasts in March 1993, that killed 257 people, and was living under an assumed identity of Mushtaq Mohammed Miyan

Farooq Takla, who is a close aide of Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and the alleged "active conspirator" behind the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts, had managed to get an Indian passport under the assumed identity of Mushtaq Mohammed Miyan in 2011, the CBI has said.
The passport issued by the Indian consulate in Dubai was recovered from Takla when he was brought from there on March 8, 2018, and arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here, the CBI has claimed in a charge sheet it filed before a TADA court in Mumbai last week.
