Mumbai Builders remain on shaky ground over strike

The Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry will take a decision on the strike following their meeting with CM Prithiviraj Chavan scheduled for today
Will they, or won’t they? That’s the question troubling builders after their lobby announced that it would go on a strike on May 3 at Azad Maidan. The pending strike has builders confused becvasue they don’t know if the strike will be carried out, or if it has been called off. Builders associated with the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) had planned a strike of more than 50,000 members to protest the government’s ‘over-regulation’ on the real estate industry.
