A few months ago, Municipal Corporator Vinod Shelar had written to the Mayor and the Municipal Commissioner to have a governing body and set rules for private pre-primary schools, but nothing has been done yet.

NB Chavan, deputy director, school education, said, “Even if there is no governing body for private pre-primary schools, the department will intervene and take appropriate action.”
