Tempo driver killed by cabbie after their vehicles collided

A 24-year-old tempo driver was murdered in a fit of rage by a cab driver in west Delhi late on Tuesday night.
The victim, Gaurav, was driving his vehicle in Basai Darapur area when a cab rammed into him.

The cab driver then followed Gaurav for some distance, and overtook the tempo near Ramesh Nagar. An altercation ensued which soon turned violent. The cabbie pushed Gaurav hard and he fell on the road divider, sustaining grievous injuries to his head. The accused then fled with his car.

A passer-by noticed Gaurav and called the police. The victim was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. A case of murder has been registered at Kirti Nagar police station.
